Improv Meet-up Club:
Saturday, Jan 18, 5:30pm @ A2CT Studio

Our monthly Improv Meet-Up Club is intended for people (age 16+) who have never taken an improv class before or have only taken a beginner class, but experienced improvisers who are open to playing with new improvisers are very welcome. Meet-ups are scheduled for 5:30-7:30pm before the first show of each month with a "pay-what-you-can" suggested donation.

Civic Improv Auditions for
Love Fools: An Improvised
β€œReality” Dating Show

Love Fools will be a 45 minute long-form improvised show inspired by popular reality dating shows (i.e. Love Island, The Bachelor, Love is Blind, etc.) directed by Allyson Miko and produced by Amy Phillips. We are looking to cast 8-10 performers experienced in long-form improv. Auditions will consist of small groups that start with a warmup exercise and then we’ll play games and scenes focusing on character work and establishing strong relationships.

Auditions are Thursday, January 2nd 6:00 pm-9:00 pm and Saturday, January 4th 1:00-4:00 pm at the A2CT Studio (322 W. Ann St, Ann Arbor). There may be a callback on Monday January 6th at 7:00 pm, but inability to make the callback will not exclude you from consideration.

Rehearsals will take place Sunday evenings. Performances will be March 22nd and 29th, April 19th and 26th, May 24th and 31st, and June 21st and 28th. Please come prepared with applicable conflicts for rehearsal and performance dates.

A2CT Relocation News

We are writing to share significant news regarding the Ann Arbor Civic Theatre. We will be relocating by August 2025 following the announcement that our longtime home at 322 W. Ann Street has been put up for sale. Thanks to the efforts of Board President Suzi Peterson, we have secured a guaranteed space at 322 W. Ann Street until August 31, 2025, even if the property is sold before then.

This move marks a new chapter for A2CT, providing us with the opportunity to reimagine and redefine the future of our space.
