David Widmayer

DAVID WIDMAYER has worked on more than forty productions with southeast Michigan theatre companies in the past twenty years – the vast majority at Ann Arbor Civic Theatre. He has worked both on and offstage as an improviser, actor, musician, designer, assistant director, director, producer, and improv coach. A passionate supporter of A2CT, he has twice served as a board member and is a former board president. In 2021 he co-founded the Civic Improv program at A2CT, and has served as co-producer ever since. His goal is not just to create community theatre, but to nurture a theatre community.
