This workshop requires participants to complete some work ahead of each meeting. Participants should bring a laptop or notebook and writing utensil with them to each meeting. 

So you like performing improv... great! But have you ever thought about using improv to further hone your comedic voice? From sketch writing, to satirical essays, to songwriting, improv can be applied to other forms of comedy. But how do you get started? 

This workshop invites you to explore the funny through improv and a deep-dive into character work. Using in-class improv and written exercises, you will learn the basics of how to create solo sketches and approach comedic essay writing.
