Ensemble Scene Study (Adults, 16+)

w/Bruce Morey

Jan. 6-Feb. 24 (8 weeks)

Saturdays from 10:00-11:30 a.m.

$240

Haven’t acted in a while, and want to get back without the pressure of an audition or play? Just want to work on skills?

Ensemble Scene Study offers adults and/or high school age teens opportunities to work on individual scenes. Emphasis is on stage acting. This class is appropriate for participants with some acting background and at least one introductory acting class. Feel free to be ready to perform a monologue, memorized or written, in the first class.

The class will have two preparatory sessions to review some of the basics of acting, such as Meisner Repetition Exercises, Chekhov Movements and scene analysis. Then scenes or monologues are assigned and the remaining sessions will focus on stages of rehearsals until ready for a final showcase at the end of the class.

Class showcase: Friday, March 1 at 7:30 pm.
